Shelley and AIDS Healthcare at Los Angeles County Board of SupervisorsShelley Lubben, former porn actress, testifies along side of AIDS Healthcare to make a whole hearted plea to LA County Board of Supervisors to do something about the rampant sexually transmitted diseases and illegal and hazardous work conditions that adult film workers are subjected to daily in the California porn industry where 85% of the world's pornography is made.
Supervisor Yarovslovsky miraculously acknowledged us after our testimony and said "This is a legitimate issue" and also, "If we can do something about it we will." Thank you Supervisor Yarovslovsky!
Please take a moment to call Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky and tell him that Los Angeles County must do something NOW to protect people working in the porn industry as well as the general public.

After watching the video i can see how the lord finds a way! because believers can call on him who is the WAY.
We both know that the lord could wipe away the entire porn world in seconds and it would never exist.
The lord is a GOD of GLORY.
Reaching out and rescueing porn actors and people in it will show the entire world both the lies and deciet in the adult industry and also will vindicate GOD from any wrong.
The spirtual unseen world is in a battle of grounds upon the world.No -one can see it except GOD.
We pray deeply that all of those who hold exceptional power will and can see the whole truth.
Time to stop the judgmental approach upon sex workers and protect them against evil.
I pray that all MEN would stop viewing porn and particapting in the industry.
Give woman a break from the lust of it all.They are real people with hearts and souls.
The camera lies to us men.The woman lie to us too.The whole thing really is a BIG lie.
The deception is telling us.....no-one gets hurt and all of the people are enjoying it!!!

Here are words of encouragement. Please bear with me. I know you're a busy woman. Please read when you have a spare moment.

In a word - Amazing. God is amazing. That speech is so inspiring, even for someone like me. I listened to every single word and went back and watched it again today -- it continues to be inspiring. It Is, Was, Will Be inspiring. Yes, indeed.
God showed me about 4 years ago that I didn't have to literally sell myself to have degraded myself. God showed me that the things that I and many women and young girls have done are no better, but just as low, if not lower, if I may be speak so boldly, than what a prostitute does. It's true.
Ezekiel 16:32 " 'You adulterous wife! You prefer strangers to your own husband! [Speaking of God] 33 Every prostitute receives a fee, but you give gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors. 34 So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no one runs after you for your favors. You are the very opposite [of prostitutes], for you give payment and none is given to you.'
This was me and many women I've known: "Ooooo, please, please choose me! I'll give you anything you want -- my body, anything. Just don't leave me." Sure, we may not have actually said those words, but in action that is precisely what we we/are saying. (And we wonder why we didn't get the respect we "deserved." ha)
God showed me how I prided myself on certain things and yet I was not any better than those I looked down upon. Oh, no, I would never be so silly as to hand over my precious credit card to a virtual stranger and delude myself into believing that they'd treat it like it was their own and not abuse it or take advantage of me. Never do something so stupid, no.
God said to me, "Very good. But what about that which is much more valuable than a credit card that you can't deny having given to virtual strangers -- your very own body."
I was just GIVING it away. By that very thing, I was basically teaching my daughter: This is how invaluable your body is. Unbelievable. But having not grown up with proper boundaries, how was I supposed to know? But God is faithful, even when we are not, and He is showing me what proper boundaries are.
I just want to tell you that I am so blessed to know you are doing what you're doing for the women and men of our country and the world. I pray that God continues to bless you and your family and all those in need. Please accept my lean donation. I expect that God will multiply it. I expect that God will bless my finances or what have you because I love what you are doing and I want to continue to help you and the others.
